INTRODUCTION

This Department works in a unique manner at 4 different domains:

1. Academic: Nurtures the attitude and aptitude of the dental students in terms of preventive based population health.
2. Clinical: Orients to inculcate the clinical skills of a budding professional towards the comprehensive need of the patient.
3. Outreach: This department aims to improve the oral health of the population by advocacy and through educational, preventive, interceptive and curative services.
4. Research: Upholds training and consultancy in research methods and conducts population based researches which are significant to community.
